“Francesco Bardelli is an excellent teacher and well educated. His home is comfortable and clean, and the guest has a large bedroom and a large private bathroom. Francesco is more than willing and capable of maintaining all conversation in Italian, and if you converse with his housekeeper and the shopkeepers, you will indeed experience a full immersion. No one in Monsumanno, with few exceptions, speaks English at all. The food in the home is Tuscan and good. Monsummano is a small town but a short bus ride away from Montecatini Terme, a nice regional resort town with many cultural and social opportunities to complement the tranquility of Monsumanno. I enjoyed my stay and learned a great deal. Francesco's optional tour offerings provided valuable cultural opportunities "off the beaten path." I would say that my goal was fulfilled”. You have been a great host, very nice, friendly, and warm. Your house is very nice, clean and you made me feel comfortable. It felt like home away from home. The Italian lessons were great, organized and fun. The excursions, the travel, and meeting your family was a wonderful addition to the experience that I will treasure for many years to come. I also enjoyed the comfortable little town of Monsummano Terme. It's small, very nice and friendly environment. Yet, it's very close to many other cities in Tuscany like Florence and many others. “During my stay in Monsummano Terme not only I practiced my Italian language skills, but also learned a lot about Italian culture, art, customs.
I enjoyed very much the traditional Tuscan cuisine.
“Tuscan Homestay” is a great mix of vacation and tuition!”
